Board-certified vascular surgeon Dr. Joseph Wuamett said he was drawn to vascular surgery very early in his training. Although initially attracted by the wide variety of surgeries and the minimally invasive techniques used, what he enjoys most is the incredible opportunity to develop powerful, long-lasting relationships with his patients.

Dr. Wuamett earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller 学校 of Medicine. He went on to complete his general surgery residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York and a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at Eastern Virginia 医学院 in Virginia.

“I have been trained in the most advanced techniques to treat diseases of the arteries and veins through medical management, minimally invasive surgery or open surgical techniques,他说. “I am expertly trained to handle everything from a painful varicose vein to a symptomatic abdominal aortic aneurysm, as well as any complications that may arise from treatment of these problems.”
